Chilean winger Mark Gonzalez claims he dreams of joining Manchester United.
The 26-year-old, currently with CSKA Moscow, has produced a string of impressive performances on the wing for the Russian side, showings that have attracted interest throughout Europe.
And the former Liverpool winger says he would be keen on a move to United.
"It would be a dream to have the chance to join Manchester United," Gonzalez told ADN Radio.
"We all know the quality that the team has and of course I would like to play in England again, even more at a team like Manchester United.
"But while I am at CSKA I will only have my mind focused on my current team, trying to play and showing what I am doing."
Gonzalez's career at Anfield lasted just a single season as he was sold to Real Betis by Rafa Benitez in 2005, but with United looking for players to bolster their squad ahead of the new season, the CSKA might be in line for a return to England.
The likes of Michael Owen, Paul Ince and Peter Beardsley are just some of the players to have played for both United and Liverpool, and Gonzalez is hoping that he's the next.
Liverpool and United are fighting it out for the likes of Steven Defour, Hugo Lloris and Gary Cahill.
