Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has refused to give up on the title ahead of tomorrow's clash against Birmingham.
With Arsenal faltering, second place now seems the most realistic target for the Stamford Bridge side. However, England international Lampard has refused to give up on winning the championship.
“I wouldn't like to say they are out of reach,” said Lampard.
“It's going to be very difficult. We need to win our games and for them to lose a couple before we go there to play them. Stranger things have happened."
The Chelsea veteran was on target in the weekend Blues cruise against West Brom, with Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou also on the score-sheet in the 3-1 win at the Hawthorns.
Confidence has returned to Carlo Ancelotti's troops after a rocky few months at the start of the year, and whilst Kalou isn't so sure about the title he believes things have changed for the better at the west London club.
"We have to continue to win and look forward at the top of the table,” said the Ivorian international.
“We want to be in the top three because it's very important to finish there."
