Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle thinks Gareth Bale would suit Barcelona, if he were to make a move there this summer.
Bale has been linked with Inter Milan and Barca among others since he burst onto the scene this season with some sparkling displays in the Champions League.
And Hoddle believes the Tottenham winger would be ideally suited to life at the Nou Camp.
"I would say he would suit Barcelona. The way Barcelona play with a left-back but don't play them at left-back, they play with left or right wingers.
"He would be ideal, but the young kid has a real good work ethic about him. He has his feet on the floor, he has just signed a new contract and I think he might make a mistake if he moves now.
"If he was every going to move, it should be in two or three years' time - mature a little bit more, find out what the game is all about.
"Quite honestly, if he keeps improving and improving - which he looks like the sort of lad that wants to do that - his time will come to move onto a Barcelona and maybe he will be ready to experience that experience in a much more positive way.
Spurs are ready to receive a host of bids for the Welshman this summer, namely from Inter, who Bale terrorised in the two groups games between the two sides, scoring a hat-trick in the San Siro before inspiring Spurs to a famous win at White Hart Lane in the return game.
Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham manager, will be keen to hold on to Bale as he looks to build a squad capable to playing in the Champions League and competing at the top end of the Barclays Premier League.
