Speculation is rife that Manchester United will launch a summer bid for Wesley Sneijder, after it emerged Inter Milan are prepared to sell the Dutchman.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter are 'resigned' to losing Sneijder after the the 26-year-old told bosses he was unsettled in Milan.
United have been frequently linked with Sneijder in recent months and now tribalfootball.com reports that the Old Trafford club will make their move when the transfer window opens.
Metro had previously reported that Inter would only be prepared to let Sneijder move to Old Trafford if United threw Nani into any proposed offer.
However, it now appears that the reigning European champions may be forced into a sale with the Holland international alleged to be considering submitting a transfer request at the end of the season.
Although there will be no shortage of suitors for the former Ajax midfielder, United are reportedly favourites to land him - and are said to have identified Sneijder as a potential replacement for Paul Scholes.
The United legend has revealed he will consider his options at the end of the season before committing to another season at Old Trafford.
