Highly-rated striker Dale Jennings is pushing for a start when Tranmere tackle in-form Exeter.

The 20-year-old came off the bench to net the equaliser and earn Rovers a point in their Good Friday clash with Hartlepool, leaving manager Les Parry with a decision to make.

Andy Robinson also impressed after coming on as a substitute against Pools and he too is pushing for a starting berth.

Ian Goodison and striker Enoch Showunmi shook off knocks to play on Friday and should again line-up against the Grecians.

Club captain John Welsh is hoping Tranmere can finally secure their League One status by picking up three points.

"We've got to concentrate and see the season off. We'll be looking to get three points on Monday and put [the threat of relegation] to bed," he said.

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale will be reluctant to make changes as his in-form side go in search of a sixth straight win.

The Grecians underlined their play-off credentials with a 2-0 home victory over Oldham on Good Friday.

Skipper Matt Taylor did not feature against the Latics after he failed to recover from the muscle injury which had ruled him out of last week's win over Leyton Orient.

Striker John O'Flynn replaced the unfit Daniel Nardiello up front and Tisdale will assess Nardiello and a number of other players who have been nursing knocks.

Defender Billy Jones has been troubled by a back problem and first-choice goalkeeper Artur Krysiak could again be on the bench as he steps up his comeback from a thigh problem.
