Chesterfield Vs Bury, Mon 25 Apr 2011

Published Add your comment

Jack Lester should return for Chesterfield as they look to seal the League Two title at home to second-placed Bury.

The Shakers are still in the hunt to take top spot but victory for the Spireites on Easter Monday will see them crowned champions.

However, three points for Bury will see Richie Barker`s side also promoted and keep alive their own chances of snatching the title.

Veteran striker Lester was rested for the goalless draw at Oxford on Saturday but is likely to start up front at the b2net Stadium as he looks to add to his 15 goals this season.

Gregor Robertson will miss the remainder of the season after the defender underwent an Achilles operation.

The 27-year-old could also miss the start of the 2011/12 campaign, which is already guaranteed to be in League One following results over the Easter weekend.

Bury defender Phil Picken will hope to be fit to face former club Chesterfield as the visitors look to enjoy their own celebrations.

The right-back, who played for the Spireites between August 2005 and August 2010, missed Good Friday`s 1-0 victory over Lincoln after sustaining a hamstring injury against Barnet the previous weekend.

Kyle Bennett will keep his place in the team should Picken not recover in time.

The Shakers have no fresh problems following Friday`s game.

Defender Efe Sodje and midfielder Damien Mozika will complete their three-match bans.
