Bury have been promoted from npower League Two after a thrilling 3-2 victory over league leaders Chesterfield.

Ryan Lowe scored the 87th minute winner for Bury who had twice led thanks to goals from Tom Lees and David Worrall.

Craig Davies and Jack Lester had originally cancelled out the first two Bury strikes before Lowe struck late on to seal Bury's promotion.

Wycombe moved into the third and final automatic promotion place with a 2-0 win at home to Crewe as Scott Rendell scored twice in the final three minutes of the first half to seal a comfortable win.

Shrewsbury dropped to fourth after they were held to a goalless draw by fifth-placed Accrington at the New Meadow.

Stockport kept their slim hopes of Football League survival alive with a 2-2 draw at home to fellow strugglers Northampton.

Guillem Bauza opened the scoring for Northampton in the second minute before Paul Rodgers scored an own goal to level matters at the interval.

A Shaun Harrad penalty with 12 minutes remaining then looked enough to give the Cobblers a crucial win before Stockport substitute Greg Tansey scored a fantastic individual effort in the 88th minute.

Barnet, in 23rd, stay a point adrift of Northampton following a 2-2 draw against mid-table Oxford, although they could have moved out of the bottom two after leading the game twice.

Clovis Kamdjo and Mark Hughes had given Barnet the lead on two occasions, only for James Constable to peg them back both times.
