Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho wants to bring Chelsea captain John Terry to the club this summer.

The former Blues boss wants to be reunited with the skipper who guided the club to two league titles under his management in 2004/05 and 2005/06.

Despite being 30 years old Terry still plays an intrinsic part in Chelsea's side and although the club are set to go trophy-less this season the west-londoners will be keen to retain their captain.

Madrid have shown in the past that they're not afraid to spend big in the transfer market and Manchester City did attempt to tempt Chelsea into selling Terry with a £40 million bid, but the England skipper rebuffed any advances.

Mourinho and Terry forged some partnership while at Chelsea together, as the club won five trophies in his three years spell at the club.
