Palace midfielder to miss final games

Published Add your comment

Crystal Palace midfielder Alex Marrow is set to miss the final two games of the season.

The 21-year-old has been sidelined since February with an ankle injury and with Palace virtually assured of safety, boss Dougie Freedman has written him off until pre-season.

"He's not going to be fit in time and it's very unlikely he'll play again this season," Freedman told the Croydon Advertiser.

"It's a shame but I think the best thing to do now is for Alex just to rest it for the next couple of months and come back stronger again next season."
