Brazil midfielder Sandro has pledged to defeat his compatriots when Tottenham travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
There's something of a Samba feel at Chelsea these days with David Luiz and Ramires making an impact alongside the already established Alex, but Sandro is determined to put one over the Brazilian trio.
A win for Spurs would keep their hopes alive of securing a second successive season in the Champions League, with Chelsea still retain faint hopes of defending their Barclays Premier League title.
It's an encounter that has Sandro licking his lips in anticipation, and he has promised the Tottenham fans that they won't disappoint.
“This is a very important match for both teams,” the 22-year-old told the official Spurs website.
“Chelsea are still in the race for the title, and we are still looking to finish in the top four. It will be a great atmosphere and we will give everything.
“Chelsea are a good team with lots of quality players. I have friends there, the Brazilians Ramires and David Luiz, but when the match is on, we’ll forget about that and give everything to win. I hope it’s a great match and we win.”
