Southend could remain unchanged as they bid to extend their unbeaten home run when they take on struggling Burton.

The Shrimpers have not tasted defeat in eight home matches and have not conceded a goal in their last four fixtures at Roots Hall.

Bilel Mohsni made his first start after recovering from a broken nose in the goalless draw with Macclesfield and looks set to line up again.

But fellow defender Johnny Herd is expecting to leave the club.

The 21-year-old scored for the reserves against Watford in midweek following his return from a hamstring injury but he will be plying his trade elsewhere next season.

Albion put Paul Sturrock's men to the sword with a 3-1 victory back in December.

Adam Bolder will return to the Burton squad. The midfielder missed the two games over Easter after suffering a shoulder injury in training last week.

It could be the only change to Paul Peschisolido`s squad, depending on whether defender Paul Boertien is ready to return following a long absence with a groin problem.

However, Bolder will have to settle for a place on the bench with Peschisolido set to name an unchanged side as Albion attempt to extend a four-game unbeaten run.

Nathan Stanton requires a groin operation and will miss the remainder of the season while fellow defender Ryan Austin will also miss the final two matches with a hand injury.
