Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere have both been included in Stuart Pearce's provisional England squad for the Under-21 European Championships in Denmark.

Danny Welback, Jordan Henderson, Micah Richards and Kieran Gibbs have also been included in the 40-man squad, which will be whittled down to 23 by 1st June.

Elsewhere, Reading's Alex McCarthy, Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker, Chelsea's Josh McEachran and Celtic's Gary Hooper have all been called up.
