Real Madrid have made Cesc Fabregas their No.1 target this summer, according to the Sun.
The Spanish club, who have played second fiddle to Barcelona this season, in La Liga and the Champions League are keen to snatch Fabregas away from the Catalan's clutches this summer.
But Arsenal are adment the player won't be sold this summer, despite Florentino Perez's insistence that Madrid get closer to Barcelona.
The La Liga leaders and Champions League finalists have been closing in on Fabregas for the past few years, but have been put off by the £35 million price tag Arsenal have placed on the player.
The Spaniard is reportedly keen to move back to Spain, but Madrid's interest could turn his head away from his boyhood club.
But the Arsenal skipper is yet to commit himself to a move to either club, nor to staying in north-London, after another trophies season at the Emirates Stadium.
