Manchester United are celebrating a third Champions League final in four seasons after defeating Schalke 4-1 at Old Trafford last night.

Goals from Antonio Valencia and Darron Gibson, as well as an Anderson double booked a showdown with Barcelona at Wembley on May 28.

The final is a repeat of that of 2009, in which Barca triumphed 2-0 in Rome, but Sir Alex Ferguson says his side have nothing to fear two years on.

Elsewhere, Carlos Tevez has resumed training as he faces a race against time to be fit for the FA Cup final next weekend.

Ashley Cole says that Chelsea's hunger for success is driving their recent revival as they aim to overhaul United in the Barclays Premier League.

Sir Trevor Brooking has defended Jack Wilshere's inclusion in the England under 21 squad for this summer's European Championships. The West Ham legend insists that tournament experience is vital for any young player.
