Ajax star Gregory van der Wiel is all set to leave in the summer for the Barclays Premier League, but the right back has demanded that whichever club signs him, needs to give him maximum game time.

Talksport is reporting that van der Weil has been connected to clubs throughout Europe, including Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly sees the 23 year old as a good young addition to an aging Blues squad.

Manchester City, meanwhile, is particularly interested in van der Wiel after Roberto Mancini saw the youngster play for Ajax and took a personal liking to the star.

A source at Ajax was quoted by Talksport as saying: "Gregory says he needs to play nearly every game next season because of the European Championships.

“Ajax can offer him that and he knows this."

Chelsea and Manchester City are both set to enter into a bidding war to fight over the Holland international in the summer, if the Dutchman does decide to leave Ajax.
