Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted in his pre match press conference that he will be without Abou Diaby, Cesc Fabregas or Samir Nasri for the Stoke clash on Sunday.
"Diaby, Nasri and Fabregas will be out," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.
"Nasri and Fabregas have a little chance for Aston Villa, but not for Stoke. Johan Djourou had a test yesterday that looked quite positive.
"We have a doubt about Clichy's hamstring. He had a test that was not completely satisfactory; both have a chance to be fit.
"Thomas Vermaelen is available and could be in the squad. Aaron Ramsey is likely to get another chance; I can even say that he will play."
While Arsenal look to be out of contention for the title, if Chelsea lose to Manchester United this weekend, the Gunners will still have a chance of at least finishing second in the Barclays Premier League should they beat Stoke.
Without Fabregas, Wenger looks set to start Aaron Ramsey in the Arsenal side for the second time this season.
