Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has given Chelsea a way of securing superstar Kaka in the summer transfer period: Give them Frank Lampard.

News of the World is reporting that Mourinho wants a reunion with the Chelsea star, and after Kaka failed to impress at Real Madrid this season, the Real manager is willing to let the star go in his quest for Lampard.

Lampard was reportedly considering moving to Inter Milan two years ago, but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic offered the England international a lucrative contract to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

While Mourinho was given a massive £250 million to spend on transfers last summer, speculation is growing that the funds will not be so high for the controversial manager this time around.

And while Abramovich has reportedly told Carlo Ancelotti that the money to purchase Kaka will be available, should Mourinho decide that Lampard is top his transfer wish list, he may choose to hold out on a sale of Kaka to Chelsea unless the Blues offer him his sought after possession.

If Lampard moves from Chelsea in the summer, it will no doubt shock fans, with the star having become a stalwart at Stamford Bridge after making 342 appearances in over 10 years. The playmaker also set a record at Chelsea when he made 164 consecutive appearances in the Barclays Premier League.

But Kaka will certainly be a big coup for the Blues, as they look to comeback from their disappointments this season. Chelsea has reportedly sent scouts to Spain to watch Kaka, and court the £50 million rated star in hopes that he will be interested in a move to the English giants.
