John Terry is backing David Luiz to become one of the all-time Chelsea greats.
Luiz signed for the Blues from Benfica for £23 million in January and has quickly won over the Stamford Bridge faithful with his curly hair and tough-tackling.
The Brazilian defender has also weighed in with important goals against Manchester United and Manchester City to further establish himself as a firm favourite with Blues fans, who have enthusiastically taken to the 24-year-old.
Now, according to Terry, the dressing room joker has all the attributes to become a true legend at Stamford Bridge.
"David is a great lad to have around and a talent on the field," said the Chelsea skipper. "He will be a Chelsea legend.
"He is young and likes to enjoy training but it is important the fans know that on a match day he is very serious and focused.
"With his ability on the ball, he could step into midfield quite easily, but at the back he reads it so well and he has shown great confidence for his age.
"He wants to learn and he wants to stay out longer in training.
"He cares for the club and that has touched me quite a bit."
