Hull manager Nigel Pearson will look to bolster his squad with as many as seven more summer signings, according to head of football operations Adam Pearson.

The Tigers have already done deals for Manchester United pair Joe Dudgeon and Corry Evans this week. City also have offers in place for a handful of other targets as Nigel Pearson looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for promotion next season.

"There's a lot of trading to be done. We've made lots of offers and enquiries and we will focus on those in the next two months," he told the Hull Daily Mail. "It's up to us to work within a good budget and we'd like to bring six or seven new players in and maybe move six or seven out."

With several squad members expected to move on during the close-season, Adam Pearson admits a busy summer lies ahead at the KC Stadium.

Pearson added: "Some will excite supporters, some won't, but that's not what we are here for. We're here to put together a balanced squad with age, playing ability and character all coming into our thoughts."
