Anderlecht star Romelu Lukaku has given his biggest hint yet that he is not planning on moving to Chelsea, or any other club.
Anderlecht lost hope of winning the title after losing 2-1 on the weekend to Standard Liegue. But while the loss was disappointing for Lukaku, the star outlined plans to stay with the Belgian club rather than heading to Chelsea, or any other English club for that matter.
“I hope we will make some big transfers,” the Belgian said, hinting that his long term plan is to stay with the side.
“I still have a contract until 2015.
“I can still learn a lot at Anderlecht. I do not have an agreement with any other club whatsoever.”
Lukaku has often been compared to star Chelsea striker Didier Drogba for his immense talent at such a young age, and has been valued by The Sun at £18 million.
"I'm flattered to be compared to a great striker like Didier but I insist on being my own player,” Lukaku said, in regards to the comparisons with the Chelsea star.
