Samba a risk we'll take – Kean

Blackburn star Chris could play through injury on Sunday when the side take on Wolves in a battle to avoid relegation.

Samba suffered a groin injury when Balckburn drew with title winners Manchester United on Saturday, and has a question mark over his head for the all important last match of the season.

"Samba felt his groin first, but stayed on and then his hamstring tightened," manager Steve Kean said.

"But if there is a chance that the big fella can play he'll be dying to get out there.

"You take risks in games like this. If we can take a risk on him then we will."

Blackburn are currently placed 15th on the Barclays Premier League table, but are just one point clear of the drop zone. If Wolves win the game against Blackburn on Sunday, then one of Blackpool, Birmingham or Wigan need to win for the side to go down.
