Tottenham have reportedly made an approach for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.
According to Spanish publication Sport, the north London club have been 'in contact' with the €15 million-rated Brazilian, while Barcelona have also made enquiries as regards to his potential availability.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Inter this season, scoring 22 times in just 24 appearances. His performances have caught the attention of Brazil coach Mano Menezes, who awarded Damiao his first international cap against Scotland last month.
Harry Redknapp was reportedly at the Emirates Stadium to cast his eye over the young hotshot, with the Spurs manager said to have been suitably impressed by Damiao's exploits.
The acquisition of another goalscorer is allegedly a top-priority for Spurs in the summer, although Redknapp is understood to have been told he must trim his squad before significant signings can be made.
Roman Pavlyuchenko and Jermain Defoe have been tipped to leave White Hart Lane in the summer, while Pablo Osvaldo and Didier Drogba have been linked with summer moves to Tottenham.
