Chelsea reserve striker Fabio Borini looks set to return to Italy and head for Parma, after a disappointing spell at Chelsea which left the 20-year-old without a first team goal for the top flight English side.

The youngster moved to Chelsea in 2007 from Serie A side Bologna, but failed to empress and was sent out on loan to Swansea in March this year.

The Italian has so far scored six goals for the npower Championship side, and is currently getting ready for the Play-Off final in the fight for a spot in the Barclays Premier League.

But despite Borini’s success at Swansea, Chelsea are intent on selling the player, and according to talkSPORT, Chelsea have agreed to a £1.5 million deal with Parma for Borini to move back to his home country.

While Swansea reportedly made an offer for Borini, he turned it down in favour of heading back to the Serie A.
