Brighton have signed striker Will Hoskins from Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed six-figure fee.
The Seagulls swooped to secure the services of the 25-year-old after it was confirmed top scorer Glenn Murray will be leaving the club.
Hoskins scored 20 goals for Rovers this season, including two against Brighton, but they were still relegated from npower League One.
Gus Poyet's side finished as champions and will play in the second tier next season, with Hoskins looking to fill the void left by Murray's imminent departure.
Former Rotherham trainee Hoskins also counts Watford, Millwall and Nottingham Forest among his previous clubs.
