Manchester United number two goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak looks set to make a move to newly relegated West Ham, according to TalkSport.
Kuszczak is close to the end of his contract with Manchester United, and with Ferguson reportedly searching for a new number one goalkeeper to replace the retiring Edwin van der Sar, it’s looking less and less likely that Kuszczak will take over the top post.
Robert Green is believed to be preparing to exit West Ham, after the club was officially relegated on Sunday and looks toward playing at least a season in the npower Championship.
Kuszczak has only made 10 appearances for Manchester United this season, and was particularly shaky during his last appearance for the club, where he made errors against Blackburn in the match that confirmed United as Champions this season.
But while Kuszczak has had limited appearances for Manchester United, the keeper has been competing against Van der Sar for the starting position, and with the Dutchman arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Kuszczak would no doubt do better at a more humble club than United.
And with West Ham now in the npower Championship, Kuszczak will be a bigger fish in a smaller pond and will be able to shine.
