Chelsea will face Scottish Premier League champions Rangers in a pre-season friendly this summer.
The Premier League runners-ups will travel to Ibrox for the August 6th fixture, with Rangers opting out of their scheduled SPL fixture to host the west-Londoners.
The Blues won't be due to start their season until a week later, and will use the fixture as final preparation ahead of the new season.
Rangers Manager Ally McCoist said: "We are delighted to confirm Chelsea will be heading to Ibrox in August.
"They are a fantastic club and their squad is packed with world class players so I have no doubt this game will capture the imagination of our supporters.
"We enjoyed a fantastic match against them in 2007 and Ibrox was packed and I am sure the fans will turn out in huge numbers once again to watch us in action against such a high-profile English Premiership side.
"This game will be a great test for our players and we are all looking forward to their visit."
The last time the two sides faced each other at Ibrox was in 2007, when goals from Filip Sebo and Nacho Novo helped the Scottish side take the victory.
