Chelsea star striker Didier Drogba will not be leaving Stamford Bridge, and is set to be offered a new deal to stay with the club for the long term, according to The Sun.
Drogba had been connected with a possible move away from Chelsea, after having trouble finding form over the season due to illness and incoming striker Fernando Torres.
But a Chelsea insider has told The Sun that when a new manager is found for the Stamford Bridge club, a deal will be signed, sealed and delivered to keep Drogba at Chelsea after all.
"As soon as the new coach has been appointed, one of the first things that will happen is that Didier signs a new extended deal," the insider said.
"There's no way the club want him to leave - he's one of the best strikers in the world."
