Nicklas Bendtner’s father and agent Thomas Bendtner has put a €11 million price tag over his son’s head, as European clubs circle the 23-year-old.

When asked by Danish newspaper B.T about Nicklas’ value, Bendtner Snr said: “One hundred million crowns [approx €11million].

"He has been valued higher before. But of course, if you are on the bench the price goes down.

"Nicklas has the qualities to live up to this sum and we can certainly find a club that is willing to pay."

Bayern Munich have reportedly been chasing the Arsenal striker, and with Arsene Wenger showing interest in Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, the manager will be interested in adding some extra cash to his summer transfer kitty.

Bendtner Snr told reporters this week that his son was ready to move on from Arsenal, with the Dane desperate to start getting more game time over the season.

“Nicklas is 100 per cent open now to a change of clubs,’ Bendtner Snr said.

“He has made his decision and he has told it to Arsenal. Nicklas needs to be playing from the start so, sadly, he must leave.

“He wanted to finish the season first, so no-one could say he didn't fight for a first-team place right until the end.

“There is real interest from both English and German clubs, and Bayern Munich were after him, earlier. It's very exciting.”
