Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says talks over a new deal for Samir Nasri are still ongoing.
The French midfielder, who stared for The Gunners during an otherwise frustrating campaign, has just a year remaining on his contract and is in talks about extending his deal.
But Wenger says the club have yet to come to an agreement.
"Are we still in discussions with Nasri? Yes, but we are still in disagreement over the financial contract on offer, which we haven't settled. We are trying to extend his deal," he said.
Nasri 15 goals from midfield this season, 12 of which came before the turn of the year, came in vein for Arsenal as the north-Londoners went a sixth a sixth successive season without a trophy.
