Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has claimed the club don't want him to leave this summer, report Click Manchester.

Rours were rife that the Polish stopper was on his way out of Old Trafford, given Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed the club would be signing David De Gea.

But now the former West Bromwich Albion man says United want him to stay.

The 29-year-old was heavily rumoured to be re-joining West Brom this summer, but now may be called upon to act as cover for De Gea and Anders Lindegaard, as United prepare for life after Edwin van der Sar.

De Gea looks certain to be the man to sign for United, with Hugo Lloris, Maarten Stekelenburg and Manuel Neuer having all opted against a move to Manchester.
