Rotherham have landed versatile midfielder Ben Pringle on a free transfer from Derby and striker Gareth Evans from League Two rivals from Bradford.
Former non-league player Pringle, 22, made 15 Championship appearances last season, but only three starts, and has agreed a two-year deal at the Don Valley Stadium.
The 23-year-old Evans spent two years at Valley Parade having signed from hometown club Macclesfield and has signed a one-year deal with the Millers.
Pringle told Rotherham's official website: "I spent two years at Derby and played a few games but I needed to play more.
"The gaffer (Andy Scott) sold this club to me. I want to play as many games as I can and that is the main reason that I have signed. It is an up-and-coming club with a new stadium on the way.
"The manager told me he wanted me to play so it is always nice to go somewhere where you are wanted so that was the main factor for my decision.
"I still had a year left at Derby so I could have stayed there but I spent two seasons trying to break into the side but for whatever reason it hasn't worked out so to come here and play is something I am really looking forward to."
