Reported Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur target Diego Perotti will not be leaving Sevilla this summer after the La Liga club's president issued a 'hands off' warning reports talkSPORT.
The highly rated Argentine winger has attracted interest from a number of potential suitors following a series of scintillating displays in the Spanish first division this season.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had been heavily linked with a move for Perotti in the past, with the White Hart Lane outfit rumoured to be in direct competition with Serie A giants Juventus for the 22-year-old's signature.
And with Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish keen to strengthen the Reds' wide midfield options this summer, it is no surprise that Perotti has also been linked with a switch to Anfield.
However, Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido has moved to quash all speculation linking Perotti with a transfer away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, telling any potential bidders not to waste their time.
"He is not for sale," said Del Nido. "Clubs in England and Italy have called us to ask about him.
"But our answer remains the same. He does not have a price because we do not want to sell."
The latest developments will be a big blow to Tottenham's hopes of strengthening their squad ahead of the new season, and will now have to turn their attention elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have been linked with a host of other winger targets and so will likely be the least concerned of the two respective clubs.
