Brighton & Hove Albion are being linked with a summer move for Henri Lansbury.

The Arsenal starlet enjoyed a successful loan spell in the Npower Championship with Norwich City last term, helping the Canaries to second place and promotion during his time at Carrow Road.

Brighton have opened initial discussions with the player's representatives over a move, according to talkSPORT, although any potential deal is likely to be put on hold as the playmaker is set to fly out to Denmark in the coming days as part of the England U21 squad competing in the European Championships.

It's currently unknown if the former Watford loanee would be willing to drop down a tier permanently, although first team opportunities at Arsenal have been limited to Carling Cup appearances for the 20-year-old during his time with the Gunners.

However, Jack Wilshere has proved that players can break through the ranks under Arsene Wenger at the Emirates, despite competition for places being notoriously tough at Arsenal.

The lure of a new stadium and similar passing football with the Seagulls is sure to be tempting, although it's unknown how much Arsenal will demand for the youngster.
