Blackpool striker DJ Campbell admits his future lies away from Bloomfield Road.

The 29-year-old, who scored 13 goals for the Tangerines last season, is expected to move to Premier League, following the club's relegation to The Championship.

And Campbell has confirmed his want to move on.

"Blackpool's been great, I love the fans, the staff and everything about the place. But I think people realise that if I want to take my career on and play for England I have to be in the Premier League," he said.

"I had a conversation with the manager Ian Holloway and told him how I felt. He understands. He knows at my age with what I achieved during the season, he can't really stand in my way. It's not about money, I'm a human being with ambitions.

"If those could have been with Blackpool that would have been my dream but we went down."
