Manchester City's David Silva has pledged his immediate future to the club.

With Carlos Tevez making public his distain with life in Manchester, Silva has moved to quell talks about his own future.

And the Spaniard says that Roberto Mancini's side can go a step further this season.

“I am very happy in Manchester. This year we won a title, we go through to the Champions League and, sure, next year will be better,” Silva said.

Silva's first season in the Premier League couldn't have gone much better after City secured Champions League football, by finishing third in the Barclays Premier League and won the FA Cup, after beaten Stoke City.
