Bradford striker Jake Speight will join Wrexham after the Blue Square Premier side agreed an undisclosed fee with the Bantams.
The 25-year-old striker, who has spent only one season at Valley Parade following his arrival from Mansfield for £25,000 last summer, has agreed a two-year deal with the Welsh side and teams up with former City striker Dean Saunders, currently in charge at the Racecourse Ground.
Saunders said: "I'm thrilled that he's on board with us, he's a player I've watched for a long time."
He added: "He scored a lot of goals when he was at Mansfield and I tried to take him then, but Bradford paid £25,000 for him - Peter Taylor signed him - and it was too expensive for us.
"He's had a season at Bradford, it's not gone brilliant there, and I've managed to dive in and get him."
Speight made 31 appearances and scored five goals in his solitarily season with the Bantams. He has also had spells at Bury, Northwich Victoria, Farsley Celtic, Droylsden and Port Vale, on loan.
