Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan is flattered by rumours suggesting he may join Tottenham Hotspur, but claims he knows little about a potential move to north-London, according to skysports.com.
The Ghanaian forward has been in superb form this season in his first season in the Premier League, however his success has led to speculation over his future at the Stadium of Light.
But Gyan says he has no knowledge of such a move.
"I am not aware of any contact from Spurs, I have a contract with Sunderland. At the moment it is rumours," he told skysports.com.
"I was in London three weeks ago for an award in London with my good friend John Pantsil, not for a meeting with Spurs.
"Spurs are a fantastic club and any player would be flattered by their interest, so I am, but there is nothing I can do if Sunderland want to keep me."
Reports have suggested that a move for Gyan would involved Peter Crouch moving in the other direction, but rumours of the England striker leaving White Hart Lane are wide of the mark says Harry Redknapp.
"Crouchie is not one we want to sell if we can help it. Henderson has gone to Liverpool, so Sunderland have some money to spend," he told The Sun.
