Hereford manager Jamie Pitman is happy with the overall balance of his squad but remains keen to strengthen his ranks this summer.
Pitman, like most managers at this time of year, would like to add more quality in the shape of four of five new faces - and he is looking to bolster his striking options with a centre-forward firmly on the radar.
"We've pretty much got cover in most of our positions, we're just looking to strengthen the squad," he said.
"We need one or two more forwards, a left-sider - so in general we're pretty much nearly there. We want to just make a few more improvements and hopefully the squad will be stronger than it was last year.
"But sometimes it's better to know a player than not and keep what you have around, because they did okay towards the end of the season. It's just we maybe need to add four or five more with a bit more quality."
Defender Joe Heath is the only signing made by the the Bulls so far this summer following his release by Exeter, although the defender was on loan at Edgar Street last season from November onwards.
