Sunderland target Darron Gibson would love to make the move to the Stadium of Light from Manchester United.
The Republic of Ireland international is subject to a £12 million from The Black Cats, which would also include John O'Shea and Wes Brown making the switch.
And Gibson, who has been on the peripheral of the United first-team this season, says he would fancy a move.
“It wouldn’t faze me one bit to leave Manchester United. All I want is what’s best for me.
“So, if the best thing for me is to leave and go somewhere that I’ll play every week, then so be it.
“If it came to it, I would love to play for Steve Bruce, but, at the minute, I’m not sure what’s going on.
“It would not only be a massive help for us (including O’Shea and Brown) going together, but it would be a massive boost for Sunderland as well. We’ve played together for four or five years, we know each other and that experience would be brilliant for any team.
“Even if we went individually, it would be brilliant for the club.
“It has come to the stage where I’m nearly 24 and I’m going to have to go somewhere else if I don’t start playing regularly.
“If it comes down to it, I just want to go somewhere where it’s right for me."
