The Ligue 1 side have confirmed they won't sell their prized asset to a league rival, and have opened the door for the player to move to the Premier League.
Newcastle United and Liverpool have been mentioned in dispatches, but it appears that Arsenal lead the race for the forward.
Frederic Paquet, Lille director of football, said: "PSG recently enquired about Gervinho, but they were told we do not wish to sell him to a French club.
"Gervinho's future is uncertain. He could join an English side, or he could stay with us.
"He has to decide exactly what he wants. We are not opposed to the idea of a transfer, but the agreement has to suit us.
"We have yet to receive an offer or proposal."
With Robin van Persie's injury problems well known and Nicklas Bendtner expected to leave the club, Arsenal are expected to bolster their attacking options.
In addition to Gervinho, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Karim Benzema, but the Real Madrid striker may yet at at the La Liga side.
