Premier League new boys Swansea City are lining up Ryan Bertrand to replace the outgoing Neil Taylor, according to Setanta.
The Welsh-based side have already bolster their side with the signing of Danny Graham and are now looking to replace left-back Taylor, who is expected to join Newcastle United.
And Chelsea's Bertrand, who is currently playing with the England at the Under-21 European Championships in Denmark is their No.1 choice.
"Every player has different paths and mine so far has been out on loan," said Bertrand.
"You've seen the benefit for Scott (Sinclair). He's gone up this year with Swansea and it's been fantastic for him."
Sinclair eventually joined The Swans from Chelsea last summer, and scored 27 goals in his first season, including a hat-trick in the play-off final against Reading, to help guide Brendan Rodgers' side to the Premier League.
Whether Chelsea would be willing to part with Bertrand for an entire season is uncertain, with Yuri Zhirkov expected to leave the club and Jeffrey Bruma close to securing a move to Hamburg.
