United defender to become fourth City signing

Published Add your comment

Manchester United defender Ritchie de Laet is expected to move to Norwich City on loan next season, according to skysports.com.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Portsmouth after spells at Preston North End and Sheffield United.

But Premier League new boys Norwich are ready to take a punt on the talented United defender.

After the signing of Phil Jones, the strength of United's defensive options means several players may be let go this summer.

Wes Brown and John O'Shea could both leave United for Sunderland, while Gary Neville retired mid-way through last season.
