Blackburn Rovers are aiming to re-sign Jermaine Jones after his successful loan spell from Schalke, but are facing an uphill struggle to keep the midfielder.
After an impressive loan spell the 29-year-old has intimated that he wants a permanent deal at Ewood Park.
But interest from across the Bundesliga and the Premier League means Jones will have plenty of options this summer.
Jones has put his future aside to play for the United States in the Gold Cup.
He made 15 starts for Rovers last season and formed a formidable partnership with Steven N'Zonzi in the heart of the midfield, and helped guide the club to survival in the Premier League.
