Carlisle goalkeeper Adam Collin has agreed a new deal to remain at Brunton Park until the summer of 2013.
The 26-year-old former Workington stopper turned out in all 56 of the Cumbrians' first-team matches last season and kept one of 16 clean sheets in April's 1-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy final triumph over Brentford at Wembley.
"Adam has continued to improve from the moment he broke into the side and he has been excellent for us," said United manager Greg Abbott on the club's official website.
"His attitude is first class and we're really happy to have tied him down for a further spell.
"It is a very important position and he brings stability and, with almost 100 games under his belt, he also has plenty of valuable experience.
"We think he's one who is going to get better and better and that's why we are very pleased that he has decided to commit his future to us."
