Wycombe have signed Swindon striker Elliot Benyon on a season-long loan ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.

Benyon was born in High Wycombe and is a former season ticket holder at Adams Park.

The 23-year-old told the club`s official website: "It has always been an ambition of mine to play for Wycombe and I can't wait to get started."

Wanderers boss Gary Waddock added: "He's a hard-working striker who possesses great movement.

"You only have to look at the Torquay game at home last season to know what a good player he is.

"He's a local lad with the drive to succeed here. He's a good addition the group."
