Anfield idol tips Reds for title tilt

Former Liverpool defender Stephane Henchoz is confident Kenny Dalglish can bring success back to Anfield.

Dalglish helped rally Liverpool's season which seemed on the brink of ruin after Roy Hodgson's brief spell in charge.

But Dalglish, in his second spell as boss, helped The Reds finish sixth in the Premier League, as they narrowly missed out on a Europa League spot, with their late season form leaving many to tip them for the title.

Henchoz said: "I think the future looks bright. Kenny Dalglish is back as the manager and I am sure he is going to bring back success to Anfield. The players they have signed, especially Suarez, have done very well.

"The young players have got a lot of quality, so for me next year I think they will get back into the top four and from there they can push on from that.

"Hopefully in a couple of years time they can win the title."
