Liverpool are preparing a bid for Stade Brest striker Nolan Roux, according to France Football.

The 23-year-old has scored 21 goals in 53 league games for Brest and would replace the outgoing David Ngog.

And Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish, who have drawn up a list of transfer targets, are readying a bid in the region of £7.1 million for the forward.

In addition to Roux, Liverpool are also ready to match Sunderland's offer for Ipswich Town's Connor Wickham.

Dalglish is preparing an overhaul of his Liverpool squad this summer following Jordan Henderson's move from Sunderland.

The England midfielder is expected to be the first of many new faces through Liverpool's doors this summer.
