Porto striker Radamel Falcao has agreed a deal with Chelsea, according to Correio da Manha.

The Columbian scored 17 goals in the Europa League this season, including in the final as Porto sealed the quadruple last season under Andre Villas-Boas, the youngster manager to win the competition in his first season as manager.

But with the 33-year-old now at Chelsea, Falcao appears to be the first player willing to jump ship as The Blues look likely to trigger his £26.5 million release clause.

The forward's agent, Jorge Mendes, has informed the Premier League side that Falcao would be interested in a move to Chelsea and the club will make an official move for the player in the coming days, armed with a contract worth £5 million a year.

Following Jose Mourinho's move to Chelsea in 2004, the 'Special One' brokered the moves of Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira, and Villas-Boas, dubbed the 'new Mourinho' is set to do the same.
