Manchester United star Park Ji-Sung continues to be a target for Juventus, despite the winger pledging his allegiance to his current club, according to the Daily Star.

Park has starred for Manchester United since moving to the club from PSV Eindhoven in 2005, but the winger’s contract runs out this time next year, and Sir Alex Ferguson faces even more choice for the wing position with new signing Ashley Young coming into the frame.

Manchester United will be looking to keep Park, with the South Korean star becoming a stalwart at Old Trafford, but that hasn’t stopped Juventus from preparing a bid that the Italian giants hope will tempt Ferguson.

Juventus are reportedly ready to employ agent Federico Pastorello to garner the deal between club and player, with Pastorello telling reporters: "Park contract runs out in 2012 and Sir Alex Ferguson would like to keep him but Juventus also like him."

Park recently said that he would consider moving to another club to finish out his career, though the 30-year-old retracted his comments today.

"It would be honour for me to keep playing for Manchester United," Park said.

"I have nothing to say about any transfer rumours - I just want to stay at Manchester United."
