The striker will continue to play npower Championship football next season after the Blades received an undisclosed fee.

Manager Danny Wilson told the club`s official website: "Obviously we think Millwall have got a great deal. Darius is a very good targetman and we wish him all the best at his new club.

"Following relegation we are aware that some players will want to move, and Darius feels at this moment in time it is very important for him to be playing in the Championship."

Henderson joined United from Watford in the summer of 2008.

His three years at Bramall Lane were blighted by injury and suspension, with the 29-year-old making just 68 starts and scoring 21 goals.
